Man Sits In Ice For Three Hours To Break World Record

Let's file this under "What will they think of next?"

A Lithuanian man decided to put his endurance to the test by spending 3 hours and 1 minute submerged up to his neck in ice to break a Guinness World Record.

Valerjan Romanovski indeed did break the record for the longest duration of full-body contact with ice.

He did so in a glass container filled with ice cubes in the main square of Vilnius Old Town in Lithuania.

The previous record was held by a French man who had spent 2 hours and 35 minutes dunked in ice last year.
