The Seattle Seahawks' live mascot -- an Augur hawk named Taima -- veered off course before Thursday night's game. Instead of flying back to its trainer after emerging from the team's tunnel, as it's supposed to do, Taima landed on a fan's shoulder before climbing onto his head, clawing the startled man's face in the process.
Fortunately, neither the bird nor the fan was seriously injured. The Rams ended up beating the Seahawks 26-17.
