The New York Mets for the first time in a long time have some expectations. Trading for Frankie Lindor in the offseason certainly helped to boost those expectations. But I've never seen a team practice how they're going to celebrate winning the World Series.
I mean, we've all done something like this in our backyards when we were kids. You hit the game-winning shot. Hit the game-winning home run. Make the catch to win the Super Bowl. We've all done that when we were kids. But these are grown-ass men, professionals, practicing how they'll celebrate winning the World Series.
It's also pretty cocky for a team to practice how you're going to celebrate winning a World Series when you've been a terrible team for so long.
