The song that is stuck in my head today is my guilty pleasure song.
I first heard this song while at daycare. Back in the day, my mom would drop my brother and I in the morning, and in the summer we'd play all day and my dad would pick us up in the afternoon. Typical stuff. The daycare would let us listen to the radio but only certain channels. We weren't huddled around the radio listening to Howard Stern. We listened to Q104 or WDOK back when they were "soft rock". One of the songs that became ingrained into me was a song by Belinda Carlisle - Heaven is a Place on Earth.
I've talked about this on the various shows that I've been on. This is my go-to guilty pleasure song. If it's on, it's getting turned up and I'm singing my cold dead heart out!
