We caught our 8-year old recently humming along to this song and it's one of my favorite newer songs out now.
Here's the cool part, sometimes being in the radio biz, you get to meet artists. Especially before they get big time. Dierks stopped by the WGAR studios a few times.
Then when I moved to Maine to work for The Wolf, Dierks was doing a show in Lewiston-Auburn. We got to go backstage and hang out with him and Dierks actually remember who the hell I was.
Telling my 8-year old that mommy and daddy hung out with the guy singing on the radio gave us a shred of coolness.
If Dierks were Jo-Jo Siwa or somebody from the Descendants movies, then we would've been the coolest people on the face of the earth. But we'll take our little shred of cool. Thanks for that, Dierks!
