WATCH: Zoo In China Tries To Pass Off Golden Retriever As Lion

No, this is not an April Fool's Day prank. 

A zoo in Xichang, Sichuan, China tried to convince people that a dog was actually an African Lion. 

Officials said that a lion USED to be in that enclosure but had been moved. Suuuuuure. 🙄
