I had a feeling this would turn out to be a prank and sure enough, Michael Strahan got a lot of people with the #GoodbyeGap video.
Some on Twitter lost their minds because they didn't want Strahan to lose that iconic smile.
Strahan posted an update saying his mother knows best and she loves his smile.
Looks like the gap will be sticking around.
