This Doesn't Suck: COVID Nurse Wins $1 Million Lottery!

For the past 10 months, we've praised nurses and other frontline workers for the sacrifices they've made while dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. So when something good happens to somebody who's on the front lines, I want to share that with you!

Terri Watkins works in the COVID unit at a long-term facility. Watkins recently received a call that her submission was chosen from over 500,000 other submissions to the North Carolina Education Lottery's Supreme Riches second chance drawing saying she won $1 million! 

Watkins will reportedly take the lump sum, which after taxes, means she's taking home a cool $424,500 after taxes.
