That's not the point of this post though. No. The point of this is to show you that a trademark has been filed for "Cleveland Guardians".
As Allan Ball on Twitter points out: a trademark application was just filed for Cleveland Guardians with a reasoning of "Entertainment in the nature of baseball games."

So could the Indians become the Guardians? Who knows? But it is better than "Baseball Team"
