Let's be honest, that took longer than we all thought.
Yesterday against the Washington Football Team, Bengals QB and number one overall draft pick Joe Burrow took a brutal hit.
Everybody watching, including me, felt sick watching this. There's a slow motion replay where you can see Joe's knee popping. If you want to watch that, you can see it HERE.
We all knew that's Joe's knee was jacked up. Well, Adam Schefter of ESPN confirmed just how messed up Burrow's knee really is.
These types of knee injuries, like the one Joe Burrow suffered, usually sideline players anywhere from 9-12 months, though each person heals and rehabs differently. But no matter how quickly Burrow does or doesn’t recover, next year’s status is now in question. https://t.co/XfUUMbMPOx

It's gross. It's gross how incompetent the Bengals are...at everything. They have a franchise changing QB in Burrow and what do they do? They have the THIRD most passing attempts this season so far. And have given up 36 sacks! How is this helping your number one overall draft pick? Apparently the only people who thought this game plan was a good plan were the coaches in Cincy because EVERYBODY else could see this was a recipe for disaster. And what happened? Disaster.
I like Joe Burrow, seems like a good kid and was on track to have a great season on a terrible team for a terrible franchise. The questions now become...do the Bengals actually try to fix their problems on the o-line? Does Burrow push behind the scenes to get out of the dumpster fire know as the Bengals? I don't think Burrow pushes to get out of Cincy anytime soon. He's gonna rehab his ass off and try to make it back before the start of next season. So the question is...Do the Bengals help Joe? The answer is no. The only thing I can base that off of is the Bengals past. When did they help Andy Dalton? They didn't. When did they help Carson Palmer? They didn't. CARSON PALMER RETIRED to get out of there! That right there should tell you everything you need to know.
Hopefully Burrow can survive his rookie contract and make it to free agency so he can sign with a franchise that knows what it's doing.
