I teased on my Twitter and Facebook pages that something big was happening and here's the pay off. Starting on Monday. I'll be the morning show producer for the Ray Horner Show on 1590 WAKR! I've never been so anxious for a Monday to get here!!I want to say thanks to Ray, Keith and everybody at WTAM for allowing me to get back behind a board and mash some buttons. I left at the end of July in pursuit of a full time gig that didn't work out. The past couple of months have been kind of nerve and debt racking for the both of us. My wife worked her ass off supporting us while I looked for anything! She's amazing and will be a great mom. (The pregnancy is going good. We are due November 2nd...Its a girl and we don't have a name yet.)
I know this is starting to sound like an acceptance speech...but I have to thank everybody who sent a reference letter on my behalf. I owe a lunch, babysitting and a few car washes to some people. THANK YOU!
Last, I'd like to thank the good folks at Rubber City Radio for hiring me. I've been banging on their door (not literally) since we've been back. They are locally owned and I hope you support them. They're good people and great radio stations.
I can't wait for my alarm to start going off at 3am! WooHoo! Talk to you on Monday morning starting at 6am on 1590 WAKR!
